i have snow leopard on my mac. i just hooked up my macbook to a hdmi switcher to my monitor and my monitor flickers a little. i discovered that it does not flicker on a refresh rate of 75 or 85, but i want my resolution to be 1280 x 800 and i cant make the refresh rate 75 or 85. the only option on it is 60 for 1280 x 800. if you can help, it would be great. thanksHow do i change me refresh rate on my mac?
Go to the Apple logo in the top left corner of your screen and go down to System Preferences.
Click on Displays.
There may be refresh rates listed on there, if not, sorry.
