How do you stop the screen from flickering on certain programs?

i just bought two 8500 gt cards and sli them together now im having a problem when i run certain programs like halo or oblivion the screen flickers is there any way to stop this. please help.and i already tried changing the refresh rate that didn't work. prefer other people with sli cards.How do you stop the screen from flickering on certain programs?
You may want to look at your monitors frequency - a 60Hz output could cause all sorts of problems if your cards set to a different frequency. Your screen resolution may also be impacting on the GPU's abilities.



I'm assuming because its a GT card you have the Nvidia diagnostic software, if you don't try downloading it from the Nvidia website and run a system check, that should show you exactly whats causing the problems.How do you stop the screen from flickering on certain programs?
Oh yeah with this issue you want to look at your monitors refresh rate, jack it up to the max your monitor will support which will be listed ';monitor settings'; from desktop properties, yada yada yada. The only flicker you should be seeing with that setup is your muzzle flash when you're rolling up some poor noobs...lol
