Screen flickers, how to stop it?

my computer flickers, all white horizontal lines flash around the screen when i click or sometimes just move the mouse. I think the term is flicking.

how do i fix it? do i change some setting or is it a hardware problem?



i have the screen refresh rate at 60hz, the higher i put it the worse it gets(85 worse than 75), would the video card have anything to do with it?Screen flickers, how to stop it?
It is most probably a hardware problem. Some dry solder or so..Try giving little shakes to your monitor.. If it doesnt work out, call a techinician..Screen flickers, how to stop it?
Blink whenever it flickers so that the image on the screen just seems to be continuous.
